If you’re a single parent living in Greater Manchester there’s lots of exclusive help from JETS to support you with your money matters

What type of support does the JETS Money Management Service offer single parents?

A dedicated team of advisors with over 65 years of combined financial experience will run workshops created specifically for single parents. 1:1 sessions are available if required. You will gain practical advice about how to budget and how to find out if you’re eligible for additional financial help. The advisors will be ready to answer your questions during and after your session.

What does each workshop cover?

• Budgeting and credit assistance: plan of your income and expenditure, prioritise bills and variable expenditure, such as shopping. Find the best options for you to get help with your debt or credit.
• Childcare provisions: eligibility for childcare support or carers allowances.
• Grants and benefits: grants and benefits available to single parents – including help with school uniform costs and student travel passes.
• The support Ingeus can give you: Ingeus can offer childcare during interviews, IT support and help with clothing for interviews.

‘Thank you for you time and experience, the Money Management session was a good morale boost.’
