Job Entry Targeted Support (JETS)

Supporting unemployed people in North West England who are keen to find an opportunity to get back into work.

The mission of the JETS (Job Entry Targeted Support) is to make sure people have the skills, support and behaviours to get jobs, gain independence and become productive employees.

JETS can support unemployed people across North West England.

In the last month 960 people in North West England have started work thanks to JETS.

The National Health Service, Amazon and Barclays have been the most active recruiting employers in North West England in the last 30 days, with more than 3600 open vacancies advertised by these companies and roles including staff nurse, supoort worker, care assistants, administrator and customer service advisor.

JETS Employment Coaches and our employer account managers are connected to the latest vacancies to support unemployed people back to work quickly.

In the North West JETS can help:

  • Working age (18+) jobseekers motivated to find work immediately.
  • Unemployed people who have been receiving benefits (UC Intensive Work Search Regime (IWSR) or new-style Jobseeker’s Allowance) for at least 13 weeks.
  • People who need employability support including CV writing, job searching, interview technique, reviewing transferable skills, and confidence building.
