Ingeus is committed to making a positive difference, both for society and the environment.

In line with one of our core values, we are committed to 'doing the right thing'. This doesn't just apply to how we deliver services - we also strive to support the environment and our local communities.

Equality and diversity

The people we provide services for and our colleagues come from all walks of life. We strongly believe this diversity is one of our greatest assets. Our culture is built on the principle of treating everyone with dignity and respect, regardless of culture, ethnicity, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation or disability. We are committed to ensuring that every individual is recognised for the value of their contribution.

Giving back

There's a strong sense of charity that runs throughout Ingeus. It's not uncommon to find our Ingeus people getting involved in charity events all over the UK, and even further afield. We encourage everyone at Ingeus to take two days' paid leave each year to volunteer in their local community. We also match fund up to £500 for colleagues who have raised money for charity, whether it's shaving their head or climbing Everest.

Reducing our carbon footprint

Each year, we plant hundreds of trees based on how many boxes of paper we consume as an organisation. We also have a self-nominated team of colleagues who look for new and innovative ways to reduce our carbon footprint.

Renewable energy

Green energy suppliers provide roughly 60% of the energy Ingeus consumes from renewable sources, including solar, wind and hydro-power.
